When you’re talking about faith as a principle of action, what would be a religious example of this? Baptism? Following God’s commandments?

I see faith pushing us to action as the ‘dead works’ Paul warned us against. We may get baptized as a way to ensure our ticket to heaven, but this is faith in baptism, not in Christ.

So some questions that I have are, is salvation only possible through faith in Christ alone? What do you mean by “salvation”? Salvation from death? Also, when you’re talking about faith as a principle of action, what would be an religious example of this? Baptism? Following God’s commandments?
